winter nights and wellbeing

So now the clocks have gone back and the nights are definitely drawing in, winter is defo on its way!! a part of me likes the winter...in the sense that i love being all snug in comfy pj's and cosy jumpers and of course a nice hot relaxing bath with lush bath bombs! :). But the other side of  me struggles with winter and dislike it. i get SAD. its dark in the mornings, so getting out of bed  for work  is a massive challenge for me in itself! its dark and cold and just eugh!i struggle with sleeping so i'm constantly tired. I just feel sometimes very distant from the world. SO!.....this year i have decided to turn over a new leaf and not let the winter months ruin my mood! i should invest in a UV lamp...but the simple truth of it, i never used to want to face the fact that i needed one, and that i could deal with it on my own, plus it wouldn't go in my bedroom ha! i was in superdrug over the weekend and saw that they had there own brand of vitamin D on offer, so i have gone down that route! "for everyday wellbeing"  whether they work or not, only time will tell. I've actually been ok so far, but thought id start taking them just in case and train my brain that i will be ok and be more on a positive front this winter!! :) x

Revolution pro foundation drops review!

Testing Testing 123!
I have heard a lot of good things about the revolution pro foundations so obviously i had to try them out!

They are a drug store brand which are available in Superdrug and are extremely affordable!
i have tried quite a few revolution products and they haven't disappointed! makeup revolution seems to impress me more and more everyday! and the brand seems to be extending and adding more additions to the brand like the revolution pro range. So its only fair that i try the new range right?!

well they must be popular because in my superdrug they didn't have much stock in the pro full coverage camouflage foundation which is the one I'm desperate to try! (next time!)
so instead i went for the foundation drops in F5 which i should of probably gone for F4 but i can still work with F5 its just a teeny bit darker but i can still work with it so its fine!
I didn't actually realise but on the website it has details of the numbers and what skin tone it is fo…

why professional over highstreet? (hair care)

As a hairdresser i get asked a lot about the best shampoo's you can buy in a high street store! and my answer to that? NONE.
I always advise my clients to go for professional shampoo. Most of the time the response we get is " but high street brands are a lot cheaper" and yes there is a reason for that...they are full of crap! i wont go into the science part but they have a lot of  harsh chemicals in them that do nothing good for your locks!. You are basically pouring plastic on your hair, alot of the cheaper brands have a lot of silicone's in them, which might lead you to think that its making your hair lovely and soft, but your just coating it and not actually, cleansing your hair ...so then it gets greasy and itchy quick?... i wonder why!

We do not recommend professional products to gain the money, we actually care about your hair!
they don't have the harsh chemicals in them that the cheaper brands have in. If you colour your hair they don't strip it out! …

I love a good old pamper evening! from having a nice relaxing bubble bath with all my favourite bath products to a good face mask! you name it, if you call it a pamper evening you go all out! right? bath, hair, face, nails, blisssss! although i will be honest with you, i don't actually enjoy painting my nails but i do like it once they are done and are looking pretty!

So first thing is first BATH! literally my favourite thing ever. so we choose a nice bubble bath or a
bath bomb! but we are going for my bath and body works, a thousand wishes bubble bath and ohh myyy it smells insane and guess what?! the bubbles are insane too!
next up, a nice shower gel and yes! again a bath and body works one....I'm addicted to them they smell incredible and are so soft on the skin! if you live in the uk like i do and aren't lucky enough to have a bath and body works here i have a post about how to get hold of them right here in the uk yay!
